Previous Project

Since 2008 Coast Group have been developing Oceanpoint at Saunton Sands, North Devon, providing 16 luxury holiday apartments. Defying the dire economic climate, Oceanpoint was practically completed at the end of 2009 with all 16 apartments sold between September 2008 and September 2009 at a remarkable rate of over one a month. Sales values exceeded local and national agent’s expectations and set new levels for the location.

Oceanpoint boasts perhaps the best views in north Devon and Saunton Sands is one of best coastal locations in the UK for a holiday home or home by the sea. It is located on the famous South West Coast Path, with the prestigious Saunton Sands Golf Club close by. Saunton Sands is a world class surfing beach while Braunton Burrows is right on Oceanpoint’s door step. It is the largest sand dune system in the UK and its uniqueness and biodiversity is recognized in its designation as a National Nature Reserve and a World Heritage site.

We believe in modern architectural design but we are realists and balance the need to respect the history and vernacular of an area with our design aspirations. All our buildings are designed with a focus on the quality of the living spaces and to use materials that can be sourced locally. We are committed to incorporating proven sustainable energy sources such as air source heat pumps.

In addition we have an overriding responsibility to preserve the heritage and beauty of the coast and countryside and wherever possible, enhancing it by ensuring that our designs are sympathetic to local vernacular and landscape character.
